Janet Jackson's new album to be called "20 Years old"!

Janet Jackson's boyfriend Jermaine Dupri talked to the "New York Times" about Grammy's and about Janet's upcoming new album and said that her new album is going to be called "20 Years Old".For months he has been holed up in the studio with her and her longtime producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The resulting album, scheduled to hit stores this summer, will be reminiscent of "Control"-era Janet, he said, during a quick tour of his mansion in this city's Buckhead district, where he lives with three bulldogs, a parakeet, a flock of peacocks and a butler. "Her album is going to be called '20 Years Old,' because that's how old she feels, and that's how long it's been since she put out 'Control.' " He dismissed talk of Ms. Jackson's recent weight gain, which has been gleefully chronicled in the gossip magazines. "She gained that weight for an indie role," he said. When pushed for more details about that role, he said that she was supposed to play a mother in the Deep South in a film that fell through. Despite her extra pounds, Mr. Dupri said he was confident that Ms. Jackson's next effort would sell well. "Heaven help us when that album hits," he said.Mr. Flom of Virgin echoed that confidence. "If he can do for Janet what he did for Mariah," he said, "they will have to name the producer-of-the-year award after him."
